Economy
Value
It's a Ford so it depreciates! Only lost £1k on it since I bought it over a year ago though :)
Costs
Reasonable MPG of 40-ish, power steering zaps a few MPG. 1.6 Mini One does the same MPG, though!

On the road
Driving
Handling is excellent, grip is good, cannot fault.
Performance
Lacks power on hills and with air con on is a real slug.

Living with it
Reliability
Problem with throttle valve causing intermittent stalls put down to a loose throttle sensor, after they spent £100s changing everything else first!
Image
A bit of a feminine car, but still fresh looking 8 years after it first came out :)
Comfort
2 ride upfront in comfort, seats in bag no good if you're 6ft +.

Security and Service
Security
Immobiliser fitted as standard. No alarm, though.
Service
The only time I took it to a main dealer (Station Gargage, Caton, Lancs) was to look at why it kept stalling and to replace the alternator - they wrongly diagnosed me for the stalling and charged me £300 for a new alternator. Very poor :(
