What does this car say about you?
This car wasn't really me, but i loved it nonetheless.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Cute and Querky. Not really a man's car but once you're in it you don't care!
Would you buy this car again and why?
I'd always go for the fiesta over the ka. The ka's just a little bit too tinny and i prefer the 5 doors. But if your on a budget it's ideal! I'd never knock it.
What are you likely to buy next?
Scorpio V6 24v, Sierra XR4x4i

Did you get a good deal and why?
NO! I was too young to understand financing. Dad thought as he knew the owner they'd sort me out with something good. How wrong could he be!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Dad was a friend of the dealer. Cheap to run.
What was the dealer like?
Looking back i should've made him work for the sale. Was rather too cocky & not intrested. He knew he had the sale.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Old 60BHP 1.3 produced max torque very low down so was great for pulling off at lights. I've driven newer one's with the 70BHP unit, which i'm sure is better on dual carriageways and motorways, but around town the older unit is much better and more efficient. So much fun! Put a smile on my face every time i got in it!
What's it like to park?
Parking? I was always tempted to carry it around town with me!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Needed headlights replacing under warranty due to condensation.
What's most practical about your car?
Storage compartment in back- could hold 2 2litre bottles of pop! Made up for the pathetic glove box. And why did ford fit a 4 seater car with door bins that could hold 2 bottles each and 3 cup holders in the back?!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Base model came with nothing. Spoiler and alloys with the black bumpers made it look like a mini land rover... well i thought so anyway! I fitted PDC which was useful but not essential.
