What does this car say about you?

Duct tape, no humb caps and lack of fuel cap door look seriously crap. My mates 1.0 polo looks much more smart in comparasion, but can't touch performance, handling or price of KA.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

'That car being parked outside is de-valuing our houses.' - screw 'em.

Would you buy this car again and why?

If I was poor again and needed a cheap runner then yes, but that's not really going to happen.

What are you likely to buy next?

3dr 2.0L Focus Zetec ESP in black, smart, good handling and only IG8 - great second car.

Did you get a good deal and why?

OKish, engine, tires, chassie, tracking, all in great condition. Turns out it had been in a crash as I later found out when I had a knock in exactly the same spot, signs of filler and respray.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

As far as IG2 cars go it's the nippiest and has the best handling, and it was bought to be ragged. The engine was in great condition, young female driver previously did only town driving, car had hardly ever been driven hard. New tires, recently serviced, long MOT and tax. Seemed like a good buy.

What's it like to drive?

Great fun in the dry, holds corners well and nippy off the line. Leathal in the wet if you're not careful, nearly lost it on a mini roundabout in 2nd gear in heavy rain at high revs. Lack of power steering is a pisser, but you soon get used to it. Much more fun that the misses' 1.2 Corsa for less than half the price.

What's it like to park?

Fairly easy, just be aware of the rear visibility, could be better, but still able to park fast and safe. Turning circle could be slightly better, but nothing to lose sleep over.

Have you had any problems with the car?

When indicating left the lights flash twice as fast if the brake is pressed at the same time. The rear window wiper only works half the time.. dodgy connection.

What's most practical about your car?

I'm 6'2" and I can fit in easily, great for taller drivers. Boot isn't huge, but big enough, rear seats a little cramped

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The fact it comes as standard with rag ability, it loves to be thrashed, wheels begged to be spun, even in 2nd.
