What does this car say about you?
I like driving a small funky car but don't have a lot of money.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like the design, the funky curved back seats and how everything is so cute inside.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Only if I needed a cheap runabout, I prefer bigger sportier cars. My last car was a Subaru WRX, so this is very different.
What are you likely to buy next?
Audi A4, BMW 3 series or Honda Civic I think.

Did you get a good deal and why?
No, the previous owner used tons of colour magic to disguise scratches and vandalism. Also it rusts like crazy, which seems typical of this year and model, particularly around the fuel filler cap.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed a cheap, reliable runabout, that wasn't totally embarrassing to drive.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent, grippy, nippy, you can throw it around, corners excellent. Great Mpg. So easy to park and so small you can nip around everybody else easily.
What's it like to park?
A doddle, even if you are rubbish at it, you can't go wrong!!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Headlight tends to suffer from condensation, not too expensive to replace. Rust - see above. Numerous squeaks and creaks from either the rear suspension or the exhaust brackets.
What's most practical about your car?
MPG, get around 40mpg as my drive is 40 miles a day 50% motorway, 50% back roads. Handling is excellent, corners like its glued to the road. Parts/servicing cheap. full service costs £100 approx every 10k miles.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Not the air con which decreases the power (a common Ford problem with all models apparently, certainly on Fiesta and Focus) so you can't overtake and be cooled down! No real gadgets to speak of.
