Great little cars. Closest drive you'll find to the original Mini. Sharp steering and good road holding make it a joy to drive. The engines are bulletproof if serviced correctly. And have plenty of oomph, more than enough for the small lightweight car.
Mine is the top-spec Luxury, with all the optional extras. I'd avoid the basic models as they are as about as well equipped as the original Mini..
Sadly not as many about as there once were. Rust being their biggest killer. Ford had the perfect recipe for a great supermini, just a shame they made them with the worst quality metal. As a result I couldn't recommend one.
Its a real shame. As aside from the corrosion issues they are brilliant. Especially for first-time drivers.
They will be future classics. So if you're good with a welder, get one!
