I bought a Fiat in disguise.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Looks nice. I initially recommended one to a friend who nearly bought one til I withdrew my recommendation!!
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. Ford UK are the least helpful people I have ever experienced: they are not interested in your issues at all, even if mine are partially self inflicted, it seems reasonable that a car should be built to stand up to everyday items people might use on them. Body paint also seems vulnerable. Primark have better service than Ford and bent over backwards for a six pound t shirt!!

Anything that's not a Ford.

Did you get a good deal and why?
My part ex was not brilliant but this was balanced out by "dealer contribution" and "manufacturers contribution" neither of which I suspect involve any real money. Monthly payments quite affordable as well as cheaper tax and insurance than old car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Affordable PCP.
What was the dealer like?
Helpful initially but having scratched the windscreen with an ice scraper (never happened to me before with 20+ cars), they suggested I commit insurance fraud to get a new one.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The performance is pretty good, the brakes are a bit worrying in an emergency or quick stop and there's a fair bit of body roll. Day to day though it's perfectly adequate and there is fun to be found making a slower car drive quickly.
What's it like to park?
Pretty easy, it's only little!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Windscreen scratched (and other windows less so, do NOT use any type of scraper) and wheeltrims ruined by an ordinary garage jet wash. Overall quality feels quite poor.
What's most practical about your car?
Reasonable mpg but not spectacular. However, I do a lot of shorter journeys so maybe that's unfair.
