Neat package, surprised that I have kept it so long.

Need more than 4 seats now. Next car will have to have same drivers seat.

Looking at Ford C-max grande. 7 seats, heated windscreen/ air con combo.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Offered good part ex. Low purchase price as Ford was trying to make end of year targets. If I ever buy new again, it will be in Nov/Dec. Would use Shaftesbury Ford again.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

End of year deadline for salesman meant I got a good deal. Drivers seat very supportive for my damaged back.

What was the dealer like?

Friendly, informed but not pushy.

What's it like to drive?

Handles almost as well as my 20 year old MX5, almost. Small engine gutless, struggles up hills. Teaches you to read road ahead so as to maintain pace, as acceleration is painfully slow.

What's it like to park?

Easy to park. Only problem is returning to car to find idiot has parked so close as to not allow door to open. Not easy climbing across when your'e 6ft 2.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Instrument pod faulty on collection. Warning lights visible at night. Pod replaced at service, without any complaint.

What's most practical about your car?

For me it's the supportive seat. My hour commute doesn't leave me in pain, as so many previous cars have done.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Heated windscreen and air con, absolute godsend in Winter. Purchased winter tyres and steel wheel package online, never had a problem, passed others spinning on ice.
