No, probably not. Next time, I'll buy something a bit bigger and faster.

A VW Passat, once the second hand prices have come down.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Not really! I live in an overseas region where importation duties and local tax conspire to add £2000 to the price. Would have been the same for any other new car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Always wanted a Ka. Liked it when I did a test drive, and Ford has a good reputation for mechanical reliability.

What was the dealer like?

Fine. He wasn't too pushy- I wasn't put off.

What's it like to drive?

It's great to drive. The steering is very accurate, the gear change is quick and easy and the diesel engine is really smooth.

What's it like to park?

A doddle.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Not yet. The car is only a week old.

What's most practical about your car?

It has doors. To be honest, nothing springs to mind here.

Air con, trip computer, parking sensors.
