Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I have an eye for a good looking, good value car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone I know has stated that they love the style of the car, an opinion lifted even further once they sit inside and see all of the extras fitted to it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Absolutely. I owned a Nissan Juke before this but traded it in after 6 months as I found it a little bit small and a bit too quirky! The Kuga is subtley stylish, loaed to the gunnels with extra kit, economical for its size and most of all a relaxed, refined place to sit during long trips.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably the Kuga replacement which is due out in early 2013 - as long as its as good looking as this current model!

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£0
When did you buy the car?
March 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
Dealer was a main Nissan/Renault dealer. He had bought in several Kugas to sell, all at around the same money. However, mine had over £6000 worth of extras but was priced exactly the same as the others which had none!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Loved the look of it and the optional extras
What was the dealer like?
Surprisingly good. In my experience of owing over 40 cars, customer service in the industry has been woeful. However, this is definitely changing and in this case the Dealer was attentive, informative and did exactly what he promised throughout the entire buying process.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very smooth and relaxed. Gearbox is super slick and requires minimal effort to use. For a big vehicle, it feels similar to a Focus on the open road - not intimidating as some oversize cars can be.
What's it like to park?
Probably the weakest part of the whole package. Even though I have front/rear parking sensors, its difficult to reverse with confidence as the rear window is quite small and deeply tinted.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No - its early days but the car seems incredibly well screwed together.
What's most practical about your car?
Two way split tailgate is incredibly handy. Height is a bonus for seeing over cars.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Absolutely love the panoramic roof. It transforms the car making it bright and airy. Heated leather seats are great in the cold weather and as for the heated screen - its a real ace up Fords sleeve!
