Summary
What does this car say about you?
Don't know and I don't care.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My 89 year old father loves the ease of access. Don't care what the neighbours think but they all seem a bit more wary about parking opposite my driveway!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. I like the overall package but would probably up spec to Titanium.
What are you likely to buy next?
Too early to say but it will probably be a Ford, underrated cars in my opinion.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£22,000
When did you buy the car?
November 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
I thought I did. Car was ready specced and got extras with a good discount of list price. Also got 1k more for trade in than offered elsewhere. Saw trade in advertised for only £700 more than I got for it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Fancied a change from a Focus.
What was the dealer like?
Helpful but disappointed that they did not inform me of Ford extended warranty for fourth and fifth years instead trying to sell me arnold Clark warrenty. Unfortunately you cannot by once registered. Why Ford?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Lovely motorway cruiser, fairly quiet at speed, will accelerate well from 70. On country roads it's drive is comparable to my previous focus. Achieving 40 plus mpg in mixed driving.
What's it like to park?
Pleased It has the convenience pack which has park assist with front and rear sensors. The park assist really works but boy does it feel weird for the first few times.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I have done 4k miles and nothing gone wrong yet.
What's most practical about your car?
I love the high driving position and the ease of access. Feels a sturdy car. I love the fact that it's big enough not to feel hassled by the prats in BMWs and Audis who drive inches of your rear.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Love the park assist and front and rear parking sensors, should be standard. The Ford Sync is brilliant. Love the heated screen when everyone else is scraping ice I just jump in, switch it on and thirty seconds I'm off.
