Economy
Value
My second Mondeo, so must be good. Lots of car for the money, very cheap to buy now, but likewise resale values are not good.
Costs
Previous Mondeo was an Automatic. Manual is much more economical.

Performance
I think it's slowing down, don't seem as quick as when I first bought it.

Living with it
Reliability
Seems to be jerky under engine braking, otherwise no problems at all.
Image
Boring to the masses... I like 'em.
-
Security and Service
Security
Standard Security consists of deadlocks, immobiliser and alarm. Seems good enough to me.
Service
Took car in to examine problem with jerky engine braking. Paid £50 they told me nothing wrong and they road tested it for a 1/3 of a mile. Now seems to be better since independent garage replaced filters during service.
