Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not much to be honest!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Not really too bothered, didn't buy it for that reason
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes most definitely. The TDCi is a wonderful engine and the cabin is a nice place to be. Seems to be well built and is relatively cheap to maintain. However there are some things to make sure before you do buy: Check for full service history but also make sure it has the separate bodywork inspection stamps otherwise the car has no anti-corrosion warranty, check the bottom of the doors for rust bubbles as this can affect this model of car, when test driving it make sure you check for smoke under harsh acceleration (ie foot to the floor in 3rd gear up to 3500 rpm)
What are you likely to buy next?
Haven't thought that far ahead as I've only had this one for a year, maybe the new model Mondeo?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Although it is noticeably heavier than the previous Mondeo it still is a nimble car. Handling is spot on and steering feedback also good. Engine is very refined and willing, and makes for a relaxed drive. Feels stable at all speeds allowing for a confident drive.
What's it like to park?
Its easy to park, rear parking sensors make the job easier! Steering is better assisted than previous model which makes tight space manouvering easy on the arms

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only had to replace the rubber pipe that goes from the intercooler to the EGR valve which had split. This is apparently quite common once they get to 3-4 years old. Inexpensive to fix at £45 for the part. Other than that, 100% reliable.
What's most practical about your car?
I own two German Shepherds and they are easily accomodated in the absolutely vast estate boot!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Parking sensors are useful as it is a long car, also one press window opening from the key fob is useful in the summer.
