Summary
What does this car say about you?
Being the Zetec S and powered by a 2.5 V6 has made no real difference I'm still perceived as a "MONDEO MAN"!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
It's a Mondeo and it's Bright Red, WHY?
Would you buy this car again and why?
It's now been superseded by the new Mondeo and given a couple of years I would probably look at this model
What are you likely to buy next?
The new Mondeo, Vauxhall Insignia, or Mazda 6
-
Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£4,350
When did you buy the car?
March 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
I think I did, at least I paid a lot less than I would if I'd bought the same car from a main dealer. The deal came with no frills, what you saw was what you got.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Downsized from a 4X4
What was the dealer like?
Can't say he was knowledgeable, he had hundreds of cars (Supermarket) and I was just another customer, but I was allowed to inspect the car without any pressure. Even a long test drive was no problem.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very responsive, you really do forget that it's an estate. The V6 engine is a delight just the right mix of power and economy.
What's it like to park?
No more difficult than any estate. The parking sensors help in tight places
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No. It's been a really reliable car
What's most practical about your car?
The large and uncluttered load area
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Touch screen Sat-Nav, and sound system that came as standard. The car has now been converted to run on LPG, and the results are better economy with no loss of performance.
