Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I am a down-to-earth normal guy who is not affected by badge-appeal (I wouldn't be seen dead in a 3-Series)and that I value space and practicality over what those snobs in their low-spec C-classes thing of my "average" Mondeo.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Some have this mentality that because it is common, it will be pants. That is until they get inside it. They immediatley withdraw their comments about it. complimenting its space and comfort.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I am so happy with the choice that I made with this car. I would certainly think of having another.
What are you likely to buy next?
I am thinking of having a new-gen Mondeo hatchback. I have found out that it has the same loadspace as my estate!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
The past 4 cars we have had, we have bought from this paritcualr Ford dealer. One of my mates used to work there so he gave us a good deal. The guy who sold us the car was an excellent chap. Helpful, friendly and he really knew his stuff. He was a really likeable guy and made the buying process easy.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
An absolute joy to drive. The ride is smooth and the gear change is slick. The car seems to glide of Britain's roads and there is no hint of wind noise in the cabin; contrary to what some reviews have said.
What's it like to park?
Despite being a beast of a car, the Mondeo is surprisingly nimble when it comes to parking. Yes, you need a nice big spot but once you've found it it will take no time at all.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
About a month after buying the car, we were on our way to the Lake District when the Catalytic Converter broke. As there seems to be a Ford dealership round every corner, it didn't take us long to find one. All Ford Direct cars come with a warranty so it was fixed in no time at all. Since then, nothing at all has gone wrong.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot on the Mondeo estate is gigantic. A family of four can fit a fortnight holiday's worth of junk and a couple of sets of golf clubs in with ease.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The Quickclear Windscreen make those cold, misty mornings a doddle. Just a few flicks of a few switches and that misted up windscreen clears.
