Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I am an ordinary bloke with an ordinary lifestyle. Although Mondeo has a "rep" image, I actually think this one is an exception, being a Ghia - not many reps have these (mainly LX/Zetecs).
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They likes it.....although the other half thinks I should have gone for a Focus (which was on my list, but marginally out of my price range - def on the list for next time though).
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes I would. There are plenty around, so loads to choose from in all shapes, sizes and colours. Well I have had 5 now, so says it all that I like Mondeo's really. You can't go wrong with one and they are easy and cheap enough to put right (not that I want it to go wrong mind you).
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe a Focus, Mercedes, Astra, BMW.....who knows what the future holds for me and my ever-increasing amount of cars I have owned?

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£2,395
When did you buy the car?
August 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
Not too bad for what I got, although the trade-in price for my old car was a little under what it was actually worth. This one is a one owner with 60k on the clock, so no telephone holes in dash or been thrashed by anyone (I hope).
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Have had 4 Mondeo's before and really like them - good all round cars.
What was the dealer like?
Friendly enough, but very difficult to get hold of by telephone. Doesn't seem to be interested now, as been chasing for months to get my service history book.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Drives well - handles OK, although think tracking/balancing may need looking at, as has wheel wobble on the motorway.
What's it like to park?
Pretty easy - much easier than my Synergie ever was. Easy enough to see all round and turning circle good.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
NSR electric window doesn't open, rear wiper & HRW not working, air con does not work, alarm not functioning (hazards do not flash when locking/unlocking).
What's most practical about your car?
Lots of room for me and my kids to sit in comfort and huge boot to get all the shopping in.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise control is nice, as is traction control, especially in the icy weather.
