No. Too old a model now but it would make a good run around.

Merc probably, although I've looked at newer Mondeos!

The dealer wouldnt give any discount at all, but he did take my piece of crap Sierra as part ex!

Nice to drive and pokey enough for the size.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Suspension is slightly lower and firmer than the standard Mondeo, hence it rides and handles very well. 2 litre 16v pulls pretty well.
What's it like to park?
Fine. Quite easy to judge where the rear of the car is unlike some hatches.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Head gasket blew at 120,000. Repaired with a head skim. Head gasket blew again at 135,000.
What's most practical about your car?
Big boot.
