Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I'm either a family guy, or somebody who's likely to wear a suit to work.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
The neighbours often lick it, not because they like it, just because it's their "thing". However, it's a handy tool for moving house with and stuff like that. I'm dependable I guess.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, I've already bought it. To buy it again would be daft. I'd probably buy another Mondeo though, perhaps an ST model though.
What are you likely to buy next?
A Freelander perhaps, maybe a neweer Mondeo.

Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£1,000
When did you buy the car?
July 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
50/50 really, it's an 11 year old car and a lot of the parts are reaching the end of their life, so expecting bills soon.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Previous car was also a Ford Mondeo. Decent to drive, plenty of room for the children.
What was the dealer like?
He's an independent dealer, pretty average. Could of done with a better haircut.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's great when everything works! It won't set the world alight with it's power but it's ample to get you down the road at a decent pace.
What's it like to park?
Going from a small car to a big car takes some getting used to, one you have though it's quite easy. decent visibility.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Where to start? had a seized rear caliper which is common for these, needs a new engine mount but if you buy the parts off the internet then the costs aren't too bad.
What's most practical about your car?
Huge boot.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise control as standard from late 2003 is nice. The CD player isn't up to much though, I replaced mine.
