looks nice, but they don't know the mechanical problems

No. cost me too much in repairs. And I took a £3000 loss over a year.

wanted a black mondeo
What was the dealer like?
good. only got a 30 day warranty but they paid for a new clutch and dual mass flywheel in this period

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
good steady drive. Acceleration OK. Cruises great on motorways, but not too good at low speed. Just changed it for an Astra SXi
What's it like to park?
hard to gauge front and back. It is a big car

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
had clutch and DMFW repalced twice (once under warranty) costing £875 each time, which still has not cured the problem, resulting in extremely stiff clutch when clutch is warm/hot. Engine clatter on startup. Handbrake cable stuck resulting in need to replace rear discs and pads
