Ford Mondeo Hatchback (2000 - 2007) 1.8 Zetec 5d (05) Owner Review

I bought this car in August of 2018 from a guy in Northamptonshire who was moving to Holland to work on an oil rig in the North Sea. I paid 250 for it! He had taken care of the car, but didn't have my maintenance records (as he did the maintenance himself), but I took the chance and have been pleasantly surprised. It is a VERY RELIABLE car. The issues that have come up have been fairly common; nothing out of the ordinary, (battery, tyre, etc) given the age of this car. We drove it last year to Berlin, Italy, through Switzerland, France, and back to the UK without any problems. It did amazingly well on the Autobahn! I highly recommend this car; it will bring years of pleasure and worry-free driving, if properly maintained, which isn't expensive. Hope this helps someone pondering whether to buy one...
