My friends/ family like the car, after driving it my father bought a diesel version
Would you buy this car again and why?
NO CHANCE,I would recommend anyone to sell a petrol version once it has done 100k. I work for Fords so get a good discount on the parts, I do all my servicing myslef and have spent more time under the car in the last 6 months than i have in my bed. If you can not do some major repairs yourself keep clear of high mileage ones.
What are you likely to buy next?
A smaller version car still in a high spec such as a ghia x , but would look closely at other makes of cars, possibly a Honda CRV

Low mileage car, not bad p/ex value on old car and car had full service history which i checked with the dealers in the service book

Needed a large family car and work for Ford Motor Company

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Car has allways been smooth and a pleasure to drive, handles very well for its size and has reasonable torque for a petrol.
What's it like to park?
Parking front in is no problem, bonnet is easy to judge but reversing into a space can be a problem if you are short as the rear pillars block alot of your vision.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
LOTS mainly in the last 2 years since it reached 90k miles and 8 years old. Leaking Steering rack, rear subframe bushes, 2 rear hubs, aux belt tensioner, a/c compressor clutch, inlet manifold flaps, rear shocks, timing chain and tensioner, Thermostat , Ignition barrel needed rebuild kit, Ignition coil pack, Track rod ends,
What's most practical about your car?
Great space in the rear, lots of legroom and big boot, Great Tow Car

Auto dim rear mirror,Climate control, Global closure/opening on windows/sunroof, Heated seats
