Economy
Value
Company car, but after this would consider buying one for myself
Costs
Company car so never had to pay. However, local Ford dealer very good and doesn't charge for works not needed. No costs outside regular servicing.

On the road
Driving
Comfy, quick, easy to drive, bit of a barge to park, but can be fun on twisty roads
Performance
130bhp without shouting about it. Goes very quickly. Can scare a 3 series!

Living with it
Reliability
Nothing major. Persistant rear brake squeal when moving (seized calliper) took a couple of visits to garage to find the fault, but all done under warranty.
Image
Bit of a reps car, but I quite like it. Some of the higher trim cars (ST etc.) look pretty good.
Comfort
Very good cruiser, can do long journeys without getting tired. Seats comfortable. A/C, CD player etc, quite pleasant.

Security and Service
Security
Radio stolen in a dingy Manchester back street. Ford radios/ cd (i'm told) are desirable and easy to steal even with face plate removed. Alarm only works once a door is opened.
Service
Used to think Ford were rubbish after Dads' Cortina, but my local dealer is excellent, can't really fault them.
