Summary
What does this car say about you?
I have kids, but I still wish I was boy racer! The 18" alloys and body kit with a TDCI badge say it all!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all love it. Lovely looking car, with some nice styling touches, surprised by how quick it is.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I'd definately have a Mondeo TDCI again, the 40+ MPG, bags of torque, acres of space & quality for the price you pay is excellent.
What are you likely to buy next?
The new shape Mondeo.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Got a great deal. At the time I bought mine, Zetec S Mondeo's were still going for £6k of similar age & mileage, I paid £5200!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted something a bit quicker but still economical.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
On the motorway it is effortless to drive, on the A roads 3rd and 4th gear are brilliant for overtaking, smooth with plenty of torque throughout the rev range! The 18" standard wheels let the ride quality down, it's to be expected with 40 profile tyres.
What's it like to park?
Sometimes difficult to judge where the front and rear bumpers end, but as with any car you get used to it.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Had a couple of little things, wheel bearing, camshaft position sensor. But you expect these things with a car which is 6 years old. Parts are cheap & easy to get hold of
What's most practical about your car?
The size. I'm over 6'3" and I can sit behind the drivers seat which is set up for me, with room to spare. The driving position is extremely comfortable aswell, it eats up the motorway miles.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Having had a Ford before I had forgotten how good it is to have a heated front screen in these winter months!
