Summary
What does this car say about you?
Well being the Sport mine looks a bit more sporty than some of the others models in the range, which shout sales rep or family man. So I hope people don't think i'm either of those!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
To them it's just another Mondeo, but reliability wise, it's run rings around my neighbours similarly aged Passat. Something i'm always happy to bring to his attention when he starts telling me how good the germans are...
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. It does everything I ask of it with absolutely no hassle or fuss and despite it being just 'another Mondeo' i've become quite attached to it, it always puts a smile on my face and it's dependable enough to get in and drive anywhere. What more could you want in a car?
What are you likely to buy next?
The new 2015 Mondeo looks like a great step up, but I'll be going for one of the new Eco boost petrol engines rather than a diesel this time round and I'll probably buy new rather than used with a view to keeping the car longer.

I need a large reliable car for a daily motorway commute.
What was the dealer like?
Can't fault Evans Halshaw in St Albans, the salesman listed to my needs, took my budget into account and gave me plenty of space to make my own decisions without being pushy.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fun and easy for such a big car, the handling is responsive and safe with plenty of feedback with no compromise in ride comfort. It's a really chuckable car that never feels out of it's depth. Cruising is it's strongest point, it's so refined and comfortable. Straight line performance from the 1.8TDCi 125 is adequate, it's quick off the mark with plenty of torque but runs out of puff higher up the rev range. It's not an overly noisy diesel engine but you'll notice it around town.
What's it like to park?
Make sure it's got parking sensors front and rear, this is a big ol' gurl. Smaller drivers like myself will struggle a bit with the cars sheer size in tight mulitstoreys.
