Summary
What does this car say about you?
At the time it reflected my job, but now it's just a great car and something I don't want to lose.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
As far as I know, they love it when I'm ferrying people around.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I'd love to but I doubt my finances will stretch to it.
What are you likely to buy next?
Something a bit smaller, like a Focus. The Mondeo consistently does 43.5mpg so a better fuel economy with the same level of comfort please.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£16,500
When did you buy the car?
September 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
I got a good deal from them. Unfortunately they no longer exist.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I wanted something with lots of kit and it had a *lot* of extras.
What was the dealer like?
At the time they were really helpful, but my car is serviced at Westaway in Maidwell, Northants and they are outstanding.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's really good to drive, very comfortable seats. Acceleration is a bit slow due to the 1.8 engine, but it's great on the motorway. Adaptive cruise control is a bit of a gimmick.
What's it like to park?
I have sensors front and rear. They are essential. I've never touched anything parking it, but it's a beast to reverse into a parking space.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Tyre wear is the biggest problem. Whether it's because they are low profile I'm not sure. I did have a minor problem with the proximity key but a software update fixed that.
What's most practical about your car?
The huge boot, and the leg room in the back.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The DVD sat-nav. I never thought I'd use it as much as I do, but I go all over the place to cricket matches and it's a God-send. The bi-Xenon headlights are outstanding and another favourite.
