Summary
What does this car say about you?
I'm someone who bought with my head rather than my heart. I really wanted a Passat or an A4 but you get so much more for your money with the Mondeo with reasonable quality.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all like the car. To be fair it's a great looking motor in black.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. It's too big. Parking's a pain, narrow country roads are a challenge. Also the seat just aren't comfortable. Even with the new seat fitted it feels too firm and unsupporting at the back of the seat base. For all the car's plus points I can't wait to get rid of it but I've got to wait 3 years and 3 months :(

Golf Estate, Passat or A4.

The car is a company car. The leasing prices were very competitive compared to it's rivals.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
OK but missed the fact that the drivers seat had been manufactured without a lumbar support.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
For the size of the car it's an excellent drive. It seems to soak up the bumps but stay fairly flat through the corners. the 2.0 diesel engine in fairly nippy right through the rev range and it's fairly quiet.
What's it like to park?
With the parking sensors it's just a pain. Without it would be a nightmare. I'm stating the obvious here as it is such a huge car.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Missing lumbar support and sagging seat base on drivers seat when delivered. Wash jet on drivers side keeps lifting so the water is sprayed on the roof and an annoying rattle has developed from the centre console somewhere.
What's most practical about your car?
The car is huge with plenty of boot space and enough room for 4 adults and a toddler in a booster seat.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I love to adaptive lighting. So cool !.
