Family man & load carrier.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Very smart & practical.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. Various people have put the new Mondeo alongside BMW's, Audi, VW etc. My old VW didnt have the backlash in the geartrain that is obvious around town. A Ford mechanic suggested that the petrol versions were worse! What really spoils the car for me is the drivers seat. On roundabouts & right hand bends, the support from the seat is almost non-existant, yet on fast left hand bends you are held in the seat very well. Driving it
What's it like to drive?
My (company) car has just done 12000 ml, at an average fuel consumption of 49.1 mpg, thanks to long legged gearing. Performance is more than adequate, with plenty of low down pull. Engine noise is well muted, except when cold. On motorways & fast roads it is a smooth quiet cruiser, quiet country show the cars good handling characteristics.
What's it like to park?
Ok with sensors
