Summary
What does this car say about you?
I'm short, so driving such a large car does seem like I'm compensating..
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My father (drives BMW's only) quite liked it, will still only buy a BMW though (satnav is preprogrammed for local dealer). Several of my colleagues have the same car, and we all quite like it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No... But only because I'm disapointed by the fuel consumption, 49MPG at 75, 72MPG at 54 behind a lorry, next car will also be a lot smaller as my kids, currently 6m and 2yrs will be a little older and not need so much stuff.
What are you likely to buy next?
5 Audi A3 - But boring interior 4 Volvo S60 - Better than the S40 i had last and liked 3 VW EOS - Call me a hairdresser 2 Toyota GT86 - Midlife crisis 1.Audi TT.

No

£14,995

August 2012

The car was from a car supermarket, it was a competetive price as the M.O. of this company is to sell ex lease / finance cars at a commission.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Company car opt out scheme with cash for cars.

Conveyor line sales!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
First - too short Second - Too Long Sixth - Too Long (engine struggles at times). Steering is good and surefooted, but it is a little bit jarred over bad road service.
What's it like to park?
Parking sensors are very handy on a car this size, rear visibility is a little poor and it is pretty wide, but otherwise, but I would not say it is particularly painful.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
User manual has some technical irregularities regarding the child locks, and the washer fluid blocked (which is known to happen by the local ford dealer). They unblocked for free, but warned they may have to charge next time.
What's most practical about your car?
It is rather large, so if you need a big family car, it will probably fill your requirements.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Seat cooler (won't use it, it makes you feel weird - but that fact that you can blow cold air up a hot **** is a fun point.).
