Ford Mondeo Hatchback (2007 - 2014) 2.0 Zetec 5d Owner Review

On Motorways and out of town it is excellent, spacious quiet and comfortable with huge luggage capacity. However, in town it is cumbersome and awkward to park, made more difficult by the lack of parking sensors/rearview camera. Economy is not a strong point, especially in town. For a Ford, the gearbox is rather notchy - I believe the 6 speed version in the diesel model is much better - pity it was not optional on the petrol version. Would have preferred built-in Sat Nav to the cruise control, but I suppose that stand alone versions are easy to buy, but retro fitting a cruise control would be difficult.
