What does this car say about you?

I owned a mondeo 5 years ago and went to BMW! I believe that Ford have made a good comeback with this model, it looks great, drives superbly and carries itself well in the crowd. We are of an age where you expect to have gadgets that offer creature comforts as standard, but how the car looks is really important and I think this one is a winner! Put this car up against your Audi / BMW / VW and it gives far better value for money, not just in the purchase but also the on-going service costs. Respectable!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

I went for the sea grey metallic which I think is the best colour to go with all the chrome. Friends and family have admired her and the two people I have let drive it (Audi and Vauxhall owners)were really impressed.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, but I would wait for another model to come out otherwise why change??

What are you likely to buy next?

Difficult to say at this time, I am too happy with my Mondeo to even consider changing.. I had a good look around and made comparisons to other marques before buying, the Mondeo wins hands down

Did you get a good deal and why?

I paid £10k less than the new price a year ago and £400 less than they were asking today! I guess anyone looking to get a deal should change their car in December when the dealers are very quite and keen to offer better pricing.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I needed a car that would give me a reasonable mpg plus performance and comfort. I love the way this new model looks and feels

What was the dealer like?

John Gross of Ipswich. Excellent service and would buy from them again, although the valeting was not as good as I would have expected. I have now waxed all the swirls out of the paintwork!

What's it like to drive?

I bought a 2.2 tdci because I wanted the extra BHP over the 2.0. This engine does not dissapoint, it cruises beautifully on the motorway and behaves effortlessly around town.

What's it like to park?

no problem and you also have the park assist front & back. The steering is light and the turning circle is excellent

What's most practical about your car?

I love the size of the car and am averaging 38mpg urban

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I am pleased that there is an Ipod input now but you still have to manually operate the ipod. other than that I like all the gadgets especially the voice control, once you get used to it!
