Ford Mondeo Hatchback (2014 - 2022) 2.0 TDCi (180bhp) Titanium 5d Owner Review

In their own words
The Ford Mondeo Mk5 (2.0 TDCi Titanium 180) is easily the best car I have ever had. Very underrated, the car is immensely practical and is really good to drive. With a boot that is the envy of almost all cars and loads of interior space for occupants, the car is very comfortable. The 2-litre diesel engine pulls strongly, cruises effortlessly (& quietly) and returns an excellent mpg (if I really try hard on a decent run, I can achieve over 70 mpg). The gearbox is a delight to use and the brakes are superb. Audio system, climate control, cruise control and parking sensors are all first class. £30 road tax and very reasonable insurance, the Mondeo is fairly economical to own. This is my fourth Mondeo and all have been really good cars. However, each new model has always been better than it's predecessor. The car has been very reliable only requiring servicing and replacement of consumable items (tyres, wipers etc..). A disaster that Ford is not continuing with the marque. SUV's just can't match a Mondeo.
How reliable do you find the car?
Although I have reported no problems, the car has an annoying issue with the tyre pressure sensors. A 'sensor malfunction' message appears although the sensors, which have been checked, are all ok and the tyre pressures are ok too. Can 'clear' the warning but it repeats. An irritation.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Although more powerful than my previous Mondeo (a 2-litre 150 Zetec Mk 4), the Mk 5 achieves more mpg and is noticeably faster. The car is quieter and seems to be better built.About their car
