Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great, handles well, goes fairly fast too although the engine is fairly low in tune compared to the same unit in the Jag X type and Mondeo ST200. V6 roars over 3,300rpm when the secondary inlet valves open.
What's it like to park?
Can be tricky, 16" wheels make the turning circle tricky.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Required new alternator at 61,000 miles. Had a new waterpump to avoid problems associated with them failing.
What's most practical about your car?
Takes five people in comfort with 3point belts.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Like the bodystyling kit, underseat CD changer and handy audio controls. Ford's heated front screen is a blessing too on cold mornings.
