What does this car say about you?

I like driving it and owning it. It wasn't purchased to be a statement of any kind.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

People are surprised that I own it! I think I'm expected to drive something more feminine... Mechanics etc like it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Absolutely. It's been a pleasure to drive.

What are you likely to buy next?

Mondeo TDCI, only because of fuel economy.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I paid a fair price for it, and got a good finance deal, so was quite happy.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I was looking for something a bit unique, and wanted another Ford. When I test drove this car, I knew immediately it was what I wanted!

What was the dealer like?

Rubbish to be honest, and they have since gone bust. Very patronising, I guess me being a woman and knowing nothing about cars *rolls eyes*. Hardly surprising the dealer no longer exists.....

What's it like to drive?

Great. Comfortable, easy and great handling and road grip. No need to constantly change gears either.

What's it like to park?

A parking sensor would have been great, as it's a very long car that entirely fills a parking space. But easy to manoeuvre.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Front suspension went at 28000 miles, more, I suspect to do with the dreadful state of the roads than a fault. Rear subframe bushes also needed replacing at 45000, which proved expensive.

What's most practical about your car?

The fantastic amount of space inside, both in the rear seats and also the boot. It's also very easy to drive, having a high torque engine.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Heated seats! Great for cold weather.
