Ford Orion 1.6i Ghia 4d (91) (1991/H) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Cheap to buy. Better off paying the bit extra for a well kept model. Ghia has no PAS on this version.
Costs
Cheap parts, easy to fix. Servicing cheap and even with 1.6 Efi engine, MPG is still 39.

On the road
Driving
Holds road well under sharp cornering. Fairly direct, though steering heavy without PAS.
Performance
1.6 Efi brings you to 60 in well under 10s. Look after engine well and you will reap rewards.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems so far after 6 months of ownership.
Image
Respectable, though unassuming. Will beat a Saxo VTR though doesn't look it. Can be modded nicely.
Comfort
Good room in the back for two large adults. Driving position ok, though could be better.

Security and Service
Security
Standard immobiliser and alarm (though not a very good one).
