Ford Probe 2.0i 16V 3d (1994/M) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Fair value for money, a lot of car for a smallish price.
Costs
Parts are astonomical. £10 for 1 head bolt and then there's 10 of them! A full engine overhall cost over £1000.

On the road
Driving
Found it to stable on most roads, although the slightly stiff suspension can get a bit nasty on potholes.
Performance
Not bad at all. Good to potter about with in the town and when wound up can be pretty capable. Cruises easily at 70-75.

Living with it
Reliability
Apart from an overhall (shells, piston rings, head gasket etc etc), never let me down.
Image
Love it or hate it. Personally I adore the image. There's a lot worse sports coupes about, but there's also some better, but not many!
Comfort
I wish every car was as comy as this! I love the seating!

Security and Service
Security
The car's not chipped, but has built-in Ford alarm on locking and unlocking doors. Put in own alarm on top of that!
Service
Never used Ford servicing, but parts prices are extortionate!
