Ford Probe 2.5i V6 24V 3d (1995/N) Owner Review

Economy
Value
A hell of a lot of car for the money, outwayed fuel consumption reservation I had. Bought for £1900 with 78,000 miles and full service history in almost mint condition apart from notorious stone chips on front end.
Costs
Mazda parts are cheaper. Stay away from main dealers and use good local garage.

On the road
Driving
Good driving position, plenty of torque, but only really impresses after 4500. As happy round town without having to change gears too often as it is on the motorway. The worst point of the car I feel is definitely the lack of response from the steering.
Performance
First gear a little disappointing, but really picks up in second. Diasappointed with the top end. Could really do with 200 bhp. But neverless quicker than most cars on the road.

Living with it
Reliability
Mazda engine, 'nuff said. Main reason I bought it.
Image
I love the looks of this car, but opinions are you either love it or you hate it. Still turns heads.
Comfort
Graet seats and driving position. I'm 6' 2" and have plenty of room. No room in back though. Boot is huge.
