Economy
Value
Seen some real private bargains - £7k for low milage 'R's. Can't think of another car of this quality and performance for this money.
Costs
Remains to be seen whether I get anything like the stated 38.8 mpg, but it's a great theory.

Driving
Fantastic. Tight, precise gearbox. Light but involving steering.
Performance
Mad. The power is always there in every gear, and you can't spin the wheels because of the traction control.

Living with it
Reliability
Used to avoid Fords because of it, but they're meant to be a lot better now.
Image
Still trying to work out if it's a girly car…
Comfort
At 6' 2", my head scrapes the passenger side roof. Better on driver's side due to height adjustment. Excellent, supportive seats. Snug, well finished cabin and a very attractive dash.
