Ford Puma 1.7i 16V 3d (1999/T) Owner Review

-
Economy
Costs
Parts always seem less than I'm expecting - that'll be the Fiesta componentry for you.

On the road
Driving
Sure, predictable handling. It never throws a surprise at you.
Performance
Chassis could cope with a little more power. Might struggle to put it down through front wheels though. Short gearing is good for acceleration, but makes it short of puff on motorways.

Living with it
Reliability
No surprises despite doing over 20,000 miles a year.
Image
Sometimes I worry it's a bit girly, but the Puma's still as pretty as when it first appeared.
Comfort
Lovely driving position. Could do with left foot rest and column audio controls.

Security and Service
Security
No problems, but watch that fuel guage. Tank is tiny (42ltrs).
Service
Or do I just have low expectations from Ford dealers?
