Liked it although not very practical for carting people or things about.

Without question. The Puma was discontinued way before its time.

Very sadly had to get rid of the Puma due to a growing family - bought a Ford Focus which was good.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Best car i've ever owned in terms of pure driving experience. I miss it. Great engine, lovely smooth acceleration. It didnt like speed humps and ride was slightly harsh at times - but to be expected.
What's it like to park?
Reverse parking was a bit of a challenge due to lack of rear visibility.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No issues for 40,000 miles, until a major breakdown for frustratingly obscure reasons - the valve stem oil seals malfunctioned, necessitating an engine rebuild. Was quite hard on its tyres and the wheel tracking seemed rather sensitive to minor bumps
What's most practical about your car?
As a Ford, inepensive, straightforward servicing and repairs. Would often receive a soaking from the boot when opened in wet weather due to a design flaw, but a minor niggle. Very little room in rear
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Liked the quick-clear windscreen facility
