What does this car say about you?

That I have three kids! Hopefully that I haven't given up on driving pleasure just yet.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Practical family transport.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. It's just so practical without being too dull. Likely to go for a higher spec, Titanium X with more options.

What are you likely to buy next?

If not another S-Max then either a Volvo XC90 or Land Rover Discovery Sport, budget allowing.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Reasonable deal. The dealer tried to insist we couldn't have the online price as we weren't taking out any finance. Insisted on getting the online price which he eventually agreed to.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Ability to fit 3 child seats across back seat; 7 seat capability.

What was the dealer like?

Nothing special. We knew we were likely to buy the car before we visited and nothing the dealer did made the experience of purchasing the car any better or worse. The only issue he had to grapple with was price.

What's it like to drive?

Very good. For a large MPV it is great to drive on both the motorway and on twisting roads. Far more dynamic than our old Audi or previous Volvos.

What's it like to park?

Big. The width of the car can be an issue in some parking spaces. The sensors help with this.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing so far. It has been an very reliable car in the time we have had it.

What's most practical about your car?

We can fit all three child seats in the back seat without any issues, the boot is enormous and the extra 2 seats in the boot have been very useful. Far more practical than our previous car, an Audi A6 Avant.

Parking sensors and the additional seats.
