Ford S-MAX (2015 - 2023) 2.0 TDCi (210bhp) Vignale 5d Powershift Owner Review

In their own words
After needing to upgrade the family wagon, we settled on the Smax Vignale Auto 210bhp. This was bought for a very good price and came fully loaded with every conceivable extra. The space is cavernous, the drive is limo like and the engine is smooth and refined and for a 7 seater, it is very good looking, especially in metallic Grey. The seats are like sitting in your favourite arm chair that is attached to a 210bhp engine. The kids love the panoramic roof, the wife adours the heated / cooled massage seats and I'm smitten with the Radar cruise, great sony sound system and decent turn of speed when needed. My only complaint is not getting one sooner. Currently averaging 40mpg but have seen 47 on longer motorway trips. I look forward to taking it for a drive and have noticed the odd admiring glance. The electric boot release is a great addition making loading a sintch and the electric folding seats only addto the simplicity. The boot capacity is cavernous with seats 6 and 7 down but still holds its own when in use. We bought this to take us camping and are able to get rid of the roof box we had due the boot space now available. All in all, I look forward to owning this car for many years and the Ford badge means it shouldn't cost the earth to maintain. If you thinking or buying one I would suggest the 180bhp as it has a nice balance of speed and power. We tested the 150, 180 and my 210bhp variants. The 150 is simply underpowered. The 210bhp although slightly more thirsty, offers driving confidence and fantastic low down torque. The titanium with the X pack is a worthy upgrade if you can get it as the standard material seats leave a lot to be desired and the upgraded Sony sound system is great.
