Value
Cheap, with plenty of toys.
Costs
Good fuel economy. Cheap parts. Easy DIY servicing and repairs. Plenty parts at scrapyards.
-
On the road
Driving
Quite good roadholding. Very swift on the road, although back can unstick with enthusiastic driving in the wet. Excellent power steering.
Performance
For 2.0, is superb with plenty low down pull, though a bit vocal at higher revs.

Living with it
Reliability
Keep it serviced properly and it won't let you down.

Security
What security? Weak locks. Standard Ford alarm useless.
