Ford StreetKa (2003 - 2006) 1.6i Luxury 2d Owner Review

This is actually my second car after driving for 2 years now. I loved my first car but bought the StreetKA as it is cheap & cheerful & have always wanted a convertible after driving a mini soft top, just so fun driving with the roof down. It’s so fun to drive, & as a lot of owners will agree it puts a smile on your face! Compared to my previous Hyundai it definitely is more powerful but just as nippy to drive, it just wants to keep going so you must watch your speed. It is cheap to insure even without a black box, tax is quite steep but I pay it monthly so not too bad & in terms of fuel costs I’d say it’s reasonable especially as I don’t do a lot of mileage, but these are sacrifices worth taking for the amount of fun you can have driving this car each day. Fingers crossed no issues with the car so far but I will service it in a few month’s. Not many people even know what the StreetKA is which has surprised me but I do get a lot of looks when I drive this with the roof down, probably as not your average 20 year old lads car but I’m not bothered as I like to drive something different, very smart in silver too! Honestly recommend this car so much for fun all year round not just summer as you just need to put the heater on & heated seats on to enjoy the roof down on a chilly day, SO MUCH FUN & CHEAP!
