Economy
Value
Is good value compared to equivalents when new but depreciation is horrific and many dealers wont touch them.
Costs
Surprisingly expensive. The engine is not frugal, even if driven lightly.

On the road
Driving
Has a fantastic chassis that is sharp and yet predictable. Steering is well weighted and precise and the shift is fast and sharp. However, the engine is wheezy and struggles. Have found a significant improvement in performance when using Shell Optimax.
Performance
The engine is harsh and power delivery is non existent past 4,500 rpm. it is course and noisy too but not in a sporty way.

Living with it
Reliability
Starts first time and has never broken down. However, it did have to have an engine remap for a pronounced flat spot at 60 mph.
Image
The girly image does it no favours, however the hard top adds a touch more class and it looks great in black. Avoid the chilli red unless highly gregarious.
Comfort
Leather seats really comfortable and driving position is spot on but steering wheel has no adjustment.

Security and Service
Security
Standard fit alarm and immobiliser is good but be aware that there is minimal lockable storage in the cabin (Although the boot is very secure and cannot be accessed from the cabin).
Service
Utterly dire. Car was supplied late, covered in scratches. Paintwork warranty claim is highly drawn out and dealers unwilling to assist in the process.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Needed engine remap.
Other
The dealership. Allen Ford were most uncooperative and unsupportive when I had warranty claims and dissatisfaction claims.
