Honda Accord Saloon 2.2i VTEC 4d Auto (1998/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Lot of spec for the money.
Costs
Servicing costs are reasonable.
-
On the road
Driving
It's not going to go round corners like a Prelude, but has plenty of power when needed in straight lines.
Performance
When you need power, VTEC comes to the rescue every time.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Standard Honda reliability... excellent.
Image
Better looking than its successor, but it's still a 4-door saloon. 17" alloys might help.
Comfort
Extremely comfortable, except that the car rolls too easily when going round corners when you are in a hurry!

Security and Service
Security
Factory alarm and average-looking shape have worked so far.
Service
Honda Ruislip - fantastic.
