Honda Accord Saloon 2.2i VTEC 4d (1997/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
A lot of car for the money and very well equipped.
Costs
Surprisingly economical and, beyond routine servicing, it's cost nothing. Insurance with AXA quite reasonable.
-
On the road
Driving
Steering a bit lifeless, but not at all bad overall. A superb motorway car.
Performance
Very nippy. VTEC likes to be revved to get the best out of it.
-
Living with it
Reliability
It's a Honda!
Image
It's anonymous, but the 'understated' looks have grown on me and I like the lack of flashiness about it.
Comfort
Suspension could be more forgiving, but leather seats are excellent, the fronts adjust in almost every direction.

Security and Service
Security
No one's stolen it or broken in (yet)...
Service
Not dealt with them.
