Economy
Value
Expensive to buy new. But the quality and standard equipment is worth the price. A safe car to buy used if all servicing is followed.
Costs
Cheap to run. Good fuel economy. Rather expensive spare parts. Especially when it comes to mechanical parts in the suspension system.

Driving
Very well balanced and lots of grip with good 205 tires. My car has got a lowering kit, giving the car even better handling. I've driven many different cars, but compared to other cars in this class, very few get close to the Accord on this point.
Performance
The 1.8 is the fastest 1.8 I've driven. It needs some rev to wake up, but above 4000 rpm it's really fast. 0-60 around 9-10 seconds. It's pretty good for such a heavy car!

Living with it
Reliability
Problems with the rear brakes on my car. Hand brake gets stuck. Some minor problems with the steering mechanism which is very expensive to repair. AC radiator corrodes.
Image
My car has got lowering kit, new alloy wheels, painted mirrors, door trim, rear wing and painted side skirts. It looks pretty good. Many people agree. Many people has got surprised by the quality feel and driving abilities in this car.
Comfort
Good seats in both front and rear. A/C, adjustable height on drivers side, heated mirrors, good leg space in front, not too big space in the rear. Little road and wind noise.
