Honda Accord Saloon (2003-2008) interior, tech and comfort
The Accord has a premium car feel inside with expensive looking materials and damped controls and buttons. Everything feels solidly built. The steering adjusts for reach and height and the driver’s seat also has a good level of adjustment. Visibility is generally pretty good, although the bulky door mirror/windscreen pillar combination does obscure the view.
The Accord scores well for refinement, with quiet petrol and diesel engines, and low noise intrusion from outside the car. The interior should accommodate five adults reasonably well, although there probably isn’t as much shoulder room as cars like the Volkswagen Passat and Ford Mondeo. However, it easily betters cars like the Lexus IS and Saab 9-3 for accommodation.
Automatic climate control is fitted across the range, as are electric windows.
