Summary
What does this car say about you?
Practical family man and dog owner who hasn't compromised on style and performance.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
All comments have been favourable, ranging from its looks to its performance. It's even impressed a BMW owner.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. It's my third Honda and I just fancy a change (something I could regret, so I'll have to choose carefully!). The problem with Hondas is that they are so effortlessly reliable and all-round competent that they verge on being bland.
What are you likely to buy next?
My heart says Alfa Romeo 159 but my head will probably steer me towards a VW Passat, Audi A4 or Volvo V50.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£19,500
When did you buy the car?
February 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
The car was a five months old demonstrator with 3k on the clock. I got about £4,000 off the list price of a new one. If I'd bought a new one, it would have had about 10k on the clock within five months, so it actually worked out better to buy used. They fitted a free dog guard to clinch the deal!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
This was the third car I'd bought from them. Good service and friendly. Lincoln Honda.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
I had the earlier model Accord Tourer and this does drive better. More responsive, more sporty. It's good on the twisty roads as well as comfortable on the motorways.
What's it like to park?
It's a bigger car than it looks, and its sloping rear-end means that you have to be careful reversing up to a wall. The front spoiler catches the kerb sometimes.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Absolutely faultless. It's a Honda; they don't go wrong.
What's most practical about your car?
One touch folding rear seats are handy - which you use often because the boot isn't massive.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I like the dual air con and the computer.
