Summary
What does this car say about you?
Like to be a bit different but not OTT.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Good looking car, never seen one before. Good reliable brand. Very impressed.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes yes yes! looks good and is a Honda that is a little bit different. I have an old Toyota Celica for myself. Totally sold on Japanese cars, even if they are built in Britain or the USA as this Civic is.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another Civic.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£5,900
When did you buy the car?
April 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
Paid the right price, not a low price but the mileage was so low that I could not ignore it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looks good, it's a Honda! Bought for my wife. She likes Hondas and wanted an automatic. Never noticed one of these before, very different from normal Civics.
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly and sorted my niggles out no problem.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Easy! Very smooth auto box. Steering is a bit dead but fine for normal driving. Not particularly quick acceleration, needs to be revved to get the best out of it. Not as quiet as it could be but I believe all Civics are a bit noisy. Sometimes there is a squeeking sound from inside the dashboard especially when cold. I think it is the ventilation pipes vibrating a bit.
What's it like to park?
Fairly easy to park, the steering goes really light at low speed making manoevering easy. Rear spoiler is a good marker for where the rear is, reverse parking is easier with a spoiler.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No
What's most practical about your car?
For a coupe, there is plenty of room front and rear. Decent boot size.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Rear spoiler looks good and climate control that works! Love the alloys.
