Economy
Value
In good condition with low milage these cars can be comparitavely expensive.
Costs
Very reasonable dealer costs.

On the road
Driving
Nice ride, good seating position and visibility, although steering doesn't give too much feedback.
Performance
Average performance. 1.3 engine is more than adequate for town and motorway cruising, but lacks get-up-and-go and excitement.

Living with it
Reliability
Very high standard of reliability - the usual Honda trait.
Image
Neither dull, nor in posession of 'wow' factor, but holds its own. Body-coloured bumpers and small rear spoiler are nice touches.
Comfort
Quite comfey. Bucket-ish seats hug nicely, driving position is good (although road maybe a little obscured for shorter drivers due to the seats), and comfey ride. Nice 'aerodeck' boot arrangement and good range of extras including electric sunroof.

Security and Service
Security
No alarm, no central locking. However, inside door locks are unconventional so wire hangers cannot be used!

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Engine, although well maintained, tendes to be quite noisey - similar to tappet noise, but not quite. Otherwise, very smooth and reliable.
Other
Honest, hugely reliable, comfortable and average-looking 3-door car, with a few nice extras. Made all the more enjoyable due to the fantastic service available from this manufacturer.
